The United Ways of Minnesota and United Ways in neighboring states, are  42 strong.   We come together to advance the common good by focusing on the greatest needs in our communities.    These are the building blocks for a good life - a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.

 United Way contributions go to work creating lasting changes right where you live.  Local volunteers invest your contribution in the areas of education, income and health, as well as other areas.  United Way also works to keep people from needing those services in the first place.  Working with a broad range of community partners, United Way supports new approaches that focus on prevention and community change.
